Trip Highlights
- Freefall 228 meters from the world’s second-highest bungy jump, a genuine multi-second drop from a working suspension bridge over the Kali Gandaki River.
- Take on the world’s highest canyon swing from the very same platform, a pendulum-style freefall and arcing swing across the gorge for jumpers who want the height without the traditional bungy rebound.
- Cross the 520-meter suspension bridge linking Kushma and Baglung on foot, a dramatic structure in its own right connecting two districts across the Kali Gandaki gorge.
- Take in sweeping views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri foothills from the jump platform, one of the most scenic backdrops of any extreme sport site in Nepal.
- Try the Sky Cycle, a purpose-built cycle rig suspended over the gorge, for a different (and slightly gentler) way to experience the exposure and the view.
- Stay overnight in The Cliff Resort’s glamping-style tented rooms, set across 22 ropani of land overlooking the river, with a restaurant and bar on-site.
- Combine your visit with a stop in Pokhara, Nepal’s adventure sports hub, just 1.5 to 2 hours away by road.
- Book a tandem jump if you would rather share the freefall with a partner, an option most single bungy sites in Nepal do not offer.
When To Visit
The Cliff operates year-round, and jump scheduling is largely unaffected by season since it runs rain or shine within safe operating limits. Autumn and spring (October to May) offer the clearest mountain views from the platform and the most comfortable travel conditions on the Pokhara–Kushma road. The monsoon months (June to September) bring a fuller Kali Gandaki River below the bridge and lush green hillsides, though road conditions should be checked ahead of travel, as heavy rain can occasionally affect the route.
Itinerary
Booking Your The Cliff Resort | Kushma Bungee
The Kushma Bungee is for travellers who have already thought about a bungy jump in Nepal and decided they want the biggest version available. As a Nepal-based operator, we arrange the transport, timing, and logistics from either Pokhara or Kathmandu, so all you need to bring is the nerve to walk to the center of that bridge. If Bhote Koshi is Nepal’s original adrenaline rush, Kushma is where it goes higher, longer, and further above the Himalaya.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the AASRA ECO TREK
Yes, at 228 meters, the Kushma Bungee is widely recognized as the world’s second-highest commercial bungy jump, behind only the Macau Tower and Baling River Bridge jumps in China, and it is Nepal’s tallest.
Kushma is higher (228m vs 160m), newer, closer to Pokhara rather than Kathmandu, and set over the Kali Gandaki River with Himalayan foothill views. Both sites are run to international safety standards; the choice usually comes down to jump height preference and which city your trip is based around.
Yes, The Cliff offers tandem bungy jumps for two people jumping together, in addition to standard solo jumps.
Jumps are scheduled by weight group, and most operators set a minimum age (commonly around 10–12) along with weight limits for safety reasons. Confirm current limits directly when booking, as they can be adjusted by the operator.
Yes. Repeat jumps are available the same day at a reduced rate for the second jump, with further jumps available at additional cost, and additional jumps typically remain valid for use within a year of your first jump.
A day trip from Pokhara is entirely possible given the short 1.5 to 2 hour drive. An overnight stay allows time to add the Canyon Swing or Sky Cycle and enjoy the resort at a more relaxed pace.
From Pokhara, the road to Kushma is a relatively short, manageable drive. From Kathmandu, expect a longer 8 to 10 hour journey, usually broken up with an overnight stop in Pokhara.
