Day 01
ARRIVE AT KATHMANDU 1300M
On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received by our staff and will escort you to the hotel, where will be given a brief orientation about the hotel, Kathmandu, Trekking, do's and don't and other related information that you might require while in Nepal.
Day 02
SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Today we will enjoy the day guided sightseeing tour of places of historical/cultural/religious significance in Kathmandu Valley. We will take time to visit Boudhanath stupa, the biggest Buddhist stupa in Nepal and one of the biggest in the world, where we will have chance to see the thriving Tibetan culture around the area. After that we will visit Pashupatinath temple, a holy Hindu religious site dedicated to lord Shiva, the destroyer, situated by the holy Bagmati river. Then we drive west of the valley to Swoyambhunath Stupa, popularly known as monkey temple, that overlooks the whole of Kathmandu valley to the eastern side. After this we will visit central Kathmandu Durbar Square where we will visit the living goddess Kumari and other temples in the area. Later today you will be transferred to your hotel to fresh up and get ready for pick up for the dinner tonight in local restaurant.
The group will be picked up at 0600 from the hotel and be transferred to Bhojan Griha for traditional welcome dinner with cultural shows. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03
FLY LUKLA & TREK TO PHAKDING (2652M) APPROX 3-4 HRS
This morning you will be transferred from your hotel to the Kathmandu airport for the domestic flight to Lukla. The flight itself is awe-inspiring, as we fly parallel to the Himalayan giants bordering Nepal and Tibetan China. Flying time to Lukla is approximately 35 minutes. Upon arrival in Lukla, there will be time to explore the village whilst the Sherpa crew sort and load equipment. Lukla lies at an altitude of (2,850m.) (Lukla= place of sheep). From Lukla we descend on a wide trail northwest to the village of Choblung in the Dudh Koshi valley. The valley is covered with beautiful pine and rhododendron forest. The walking is easy as we follow the river’s course passing through the village of Ghat. Our destination today is the small village of Phakding where accommodation is provided in a tea house lodge. It is approximately three hours walking distance from Lukla to Phakding. Stay overnight at Phakding.
Day 04
TREK TO NAMCHE BAZAAR (3440M) APPROX 5-6 HRS
From Phakding we head up valley on a busy trail. Porters here from the lower Solu district in the south ferry supplies to Namche, while Sherpa with their Zopkio (half yak, half cow) take trekking or climbing expedition equipment to the higher valleys. We continue beside the Dudh Koshi amongst beautiful alpine scenery, through fragrant blue pine and fir forest, glimpsing spectacular views of Kusum Kangru (6,369m) and Thamserku (6,608m) along the way. We again cross the Dudh Koshi to the western bank at Jorsale prior to reaching the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. Continuing upstream along the banks to the confluence of the Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi, we begin our first sustained ascent to Namche Bazaar after crossing the large suspension bridge. Walking at a slow pace, we have fantastic photographic opportunities as the peaks of Everest (8,848m), Lhotse (8,511m), Nuptse (7,879m), Ama Dablam (6,856m), and Taweche (6,542m) come into view for the first time. Climbing again, the path takes us through pine trees to reach the distinctive horse-shoe shaped bowl containing the town of Namche Bazaar. It is approximately four hours, walking distance from Phakding to Namche. Stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Day 05
NAMCHE BAZAAR REST DAY FOR LOCAL EXCURSION
Today is a full day of rest to acclimatize. As the name suggests, Namche is famous for its local market or Bazaar (held on Saturday). Each week Sherpas from the surrounding villages come to buy food and to socialize. Any food not grown locally, such as rice, corn and some vegetables, is brought in from the lowland villages, which can be up to a six to ten days walk from Namche Bazaar. Rising early, those who climb to the ridge above Namche will be rewarded with the stunning dawn and sunrise over the panorama of the Khumbu peaks. Spend the morning exploring this colorful and lovely spectacle. Perhaps walk along the Thame valley in the afternoon or visit the national park headquarters to see the interesting displays of Sherpa lifestyle and culture and photographic displays of famous mountaineering expeditions. Day 06
TREK TO TENGBOCHE (3867M) APPROX 5 HRS
After breakfast, our trek leads to Fungi Thenga for lunch. After lunch we ascend another two hours to reach Tengboche where we pay a visit to the Monastery with our guide. It is approximately five hours walking distance from Namche to Tengboche. Stay overnight in Tengboche.
Day 07
TENGBOCHE-NAMCHE BAZAAR
The route descends to Phunki Thangka, and then ascends the ridge towards Namche Bazaar. It is approximately four hours walking distance from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar. Stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Day 08
NAMCHE BAZAAR- LUKLA 7-8 HRS
It’s a long walk from Namche to Lukla. The trail continues ascending steadily through the bank of Dudhkosi and reaches Lukla, overnight at Lukla.
Day 09
FLY TO KATHMANDU
The flight time to Kathmandu are scheduled for morning normally because of the wind in the afternoon. Sometime the flight time can be delayed due to bad weather and other reason beyond our command. As we get hold of the boarding pass, depending upon our flight time, we make our way to the terminal for security check. This scenic flight from Lukla takes about 45 minutes to Kathmandu, a panoramic view of the snow capped peaks can be seen from window of the plane.
Arriving at Kathmandu domestic terminal, our staff will receive and escort you back to the Hotel.
Day 10
IN KATHMANDU
A free day in Kathmandu please let our staff know if you would like to go on another short tour in and around Kathmandu Valley or you want to extend your stay and to join in our other extension trip. White Water Rafting-Jungle Safari-Paragliding or Bungee Jump.
Day 11
FINAL DEPARTURE
Today as per your international flight time, keep your confirmed air ticket, departure tax (in local currency) and your passport handy. Our Tour Officer will take you to the airport for your final departure from this amazing country, Nepal.

‘On the cultural, scenic trail of the rich Sherpa land’
Home to eight of the world’s ten highest peaks, Nepal is loaded with spectacular mountain vistas. The Everest region is famous, not only for its proximity to the world’s highest mountain (8848m) but also for its friendly Sherpa people, colorful festivals, and Buddhist monasteries. The flora and fauna are other ornaments of the Sagarmatha National Park, and the story of the yeti is still a mystery to the world from the Khumbu region.
This is an out standing trek visiting the high lush valleys of the Khumbu with time to explore villages and monasteries and to sample the warm hospitality of the Sherpa people.
Adventure begins with a sweeping flight to Lukla. A popular destination which provides a fascinating contrast to the high mountain scapes as we approach nearer. We trek slowly to Phakding where we will be staying our first night in. The next day we trek ahead to the Sherpa capital Namche Bazaar. We have time to acclimatise ourselves, before following the quiet trail to Thyangboche with incredible view of Mt. Khangtega, Mt. Thamserku and the Nuptse – Lhotse wall with the Mt. Everest rearing above.
A flight to Kathmandu concludes our short but spectacular trek.
